ABOUT
The Corona pandemic showed the importance of digital platforms in the field of education, and it gave a great moral boost. As a result, many educational institutions, colleges and universities have already relied on these platforms, while other educational institutions have resorted to develop their technical system and build their own platforms to satisfy their objectives in the field of teaching and learning. These technical platforms have provided educational solutions and learning alternatives in which knowledge is always available to everyone.
Believing in the importance of these educational platforms, and in line with international trends to promote and grow e-learning to build a culture of e-learning and spread knowledge, the specialized digital anatomy platform has been launched as an interactive digital academic platform for anatomy, which seeks to be a scientific reference and an educational platform for large segments of society including medical students, dental students and healthcare professionals. This platform is the first of its kind in the Arab world, and it is working to be among the significant global digital academic platforms.
The importance of the platform lies in the fact that it is a pioneering platform within the field of medicine that benefits a large segment of doctors, medical, dental, and students of other medical specializations, as well the healthcare professionals such as nurses and technicians. The platform also seeks to contribute to enriching the Arab space with an advanced and comprehensive platform for anatomy that benefits everyone, including members of society who seek to access information and possess knowledge easily without complication.
Therefore, the digital anatomy platform is unleashed to serve the objectives and to fill the space to be one of recognized digital platforms worldwide. It is a platform that is designed and released by Dr. Khaleel Alyahya from department of anatomy and sponsored by the center of excellence for learning and teaching at King Saud University.
Our Story
As a faculty member of King Saud University School of Medicine and as an academic advisor, Dr. Khaleel Alyahya has seen many interesting learning platforms and websites that teach anatomy with supportive elements like images and videos, but none of them comes from Arab region and non-belong to Arab academic institutions. Therefore, Dr. Alyahya has decided to design a platform to help medical and dental students learn Anatomy. TBC.
